Airframe Ultra Airframe Tier List

This list ranks the four selectable airframes in current betas. The full game is coming soon; boosts and map mix will move. New riders: getting started and the boosting guide. Parent snapshot: tier list hub. Numbers: airframe comparison tool. Kits: loadout planner.

Specialist bikes add a difficulty star. Bluntnose does not — that is why it stays S for the median lobby.

S — Bluntnose

Bluntnose is the generalist. About half of lobby picks and fifteen of twenty-three presets sit on it. Three starting boosts, default damage, a short boost you can fire in an arena. Ride it while you learn controls or whenever you do not want a specialist star. It is the bike you regret leaving when the vote lands mixed.

A — Vector (boosters)

Vector takes 1.3x damage, starts with five boosts, and gains double coolant (six from a Big Boost buy). Without boost it sits near 145 km/h. Ultraboost is a low glide that can touch 280–300 km/h when you match the ground angle. Boost again while a boost is already running and the bike can veer. Dry-boost from full health can dump about 59% health. Vector is A, not S, because the skill floor is a cliff. Practice on open sections from the tracks guide.

A — Cruiser (long race maps)

Cruiser takes 0.7x damage, reaches 200 km/h in about thirty seconds, and gear 8 sits near 305 km/h. Handling is poor and nose-heavy. Boost lasts about 1.5 seconds with little lift. On long pavement it is A because it does not need a perfect coolant line. In tight arenas it drops toward B: hard to grab pickups, easy to pin. Rider weight barely moves it.

A in arenas, B on long straights — Hopper

Hopper takes 1.6x damage, jumps hard, and turns without a brake on most corners. About 150 km/h around fifty seconds, gear 8 near 205 km/h. Best initial acceleration of the four — alive in a pit, dead on a long straight. Weight class matters: Light can push toward 160 km/h in that window; Heavy can sag toward 125. Heavy-plus-Hopper is a challenge, not a rank. See body types. Dry-boost costs about 34% health.

Pick for a real lobby

Highway → Cruiser or Bluntnose. Pits → Hopper or Bluntnose. Open race with coolant → Vector if you can boost. Online PvP, online co-op, and split-screen all use these four bikes; ping makes Vector glides harder, not illegal. Closed-beta mascots (Bandit 99, The Nuclear Them, Jackrabbit, Marcus 0743) are not a fifth public bike. See demo notes, then guns on the weapon tier list and dismounts in the combat guide. If this list and your last match disagree, trust the match, then updates.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for racers still learning Megacity West.

Why is Bluntnose S-tier?

It is the only generalist, takes 1.0x damage, starts with three boosts, and skips the specialist star. About half of players and 15 of 23 presets ride it.

When do I pick Vector over Bluntnose?

When you can ultraboost without crashing and the track has coolant. Vector takes 1.3x damage and sits near 145 km/h with no boost. See the boosting guide.

Is Cruiser bad in fights?

Awkward, not fragile. 0.7x damage taken soaks shots, but poor turning loses arenas. Rank it A on long race maps and lower when the vote is a pit.

Does Hopper rider weight really matter?

Yes. Light helps speed; Heavy can drop you toward 125 km/h. See body types.

Where can I compare numbers without this page?

Use the airframe comparison tool and stash a kit in the loadout planner.

Will these ranks hold at launch?

Unlikely line for line. The full game is coming soon. Recheck updates.
